Cape Winelands Professional Consulting Services (CWPCS) is an authorized trading division of Siyakhana Consulting. Contracting, invoicing, and engagement mandates are issued under Siyakhana Consulting. Privacy requests may be directed to tax@cwpcs.co.za. Our practice is based in Paarl, Western Cape, South Africa.
2. Information we collect
Enquiries include your name, business name, email, optional phone number, service selection, message, optional preferred date and consent. Client accounts process authentication details. Documents you choose to upload are stored privately. Technical service providers may process essential security, network and access logs.
3. Purpose and lawful processing
We use enquiry details to respond, scope services and arrange consultations with your consent. Engagement-related information is processed where necessary to perform agreed services, comply with applicable statutory obligations or pursue lawful legitimate interests. We do not use enquiry consent as permission for unrelated marketing.
4. Recipients and service providers
Information may be accessed by authorised Siyakhana Consulting personnel and contracted hosting, authentication and storage providers acting for the practice. Information is shared with SARS, CIPC or other authorities only where authorised or legally required. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Security and documents
Enquiries are not publicly readable. Documents are stored in a private bucket and access is restricted to the uploading account and authorised service administrators. No system can guarantee absolute security. Do not submit passwords, banking access credentials or ID numbers in enquiry messages.
6. Retention
Information is retained only as long as needed for the enquiry or engagement and applicable legal, tax, accounting or dispute-resolution requirements. Unnecessary information will be deleted or de-identified when lawful. Contact the practice for the retention period applicable to your records.
7. Your rights
Subject to law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to processing, and withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing. Contact tax@cwpcs.co.za. Identity verification may be required. You may lodge a complaint with the South African Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
8. Cross-border processing
Cloud providers may process information outside South Africa. Where this occurs, processing must meet POPIA section 72 requirements, including appropriate contractual or legal protections.
9. Cookies and account storage
Essential browser storage maintains your sign-in session. This website does not implement advertising trackers or optional analytics cookies. Service-level operational logs may be maintained for security and reliability.
10. Children, third-party information and updates
The site is intended for business representatives. Submit only information you are authorised to share. This notice may be updated when practices or legal obligations change; the effective date will identify the current version.
